Luxury and Stunning Beauty Await at this Remote Island Resort in the town of Larsen Bay on Uyak Bay Alaska
At the heart of the operation is the lodge located on Kodiak Island, approximately 60 miles southwest of the city of Kodiak in Larsen Bay, Alaska. Larsen Bay is efficiently accessible only by airplane or boat, because there are no roadways through Kodiak’s untouched wilderness.
The luxurious lodge rests right on the shoreline of Uyak Bay, a stunningly beautiful, protected body of water surrounded by vibrant, green, velvet hills and mountains, capped with sparkling white diamonds of snow. It’s not uncommon to see whales, bears, and sea birds right from the deck of the lodge.
The main lodge has over 5,000 square feet of living space with five suites and four single rooms. In addition to the main lodge there is a two-bedroom cabin with its own kitchen and fireplace. The dining room seats 25 people and overlooks the beautiful Uyak Bay. Here you will enjoy gourmet meals prepared by an internationally trained chef who creates memorable dishes with imaginative flavors and local ingredients.
In the evenings, gourmet appetizers are served in the recreation room where you can relax by the fireplace, play a game of pool, connect to the wireless internet or sit down and catch up on world events on our big screen television. The hot tub on the beach overlooking Uyak Bay also provides a great way for guests to relax and wind down after days filled with adventure in the Alaska wilderness.
