Our Story | About Kodiak Island | Our Service Model
Looking for a Luxury Lodge or the Finest Alaska Game Lodge...
Our Accommodations Will Not Disappoint You
We seek to create a unique Alaskan lodge – a luxurious, eco-friendly and environmentally conscious operation that provides better customer service and a breadth of adventure opportunities beyond all others.

Our Business Principles
1. Goal: Kodiak Legends Lodge aims to become the finest remote luxury lodge in Alaska. The highest level of customer service, better equipment, more comfortable amenities, safer operations, more experienced guides and employees, and a greater versatility of activities will set us apart from the competition.
2. Clients: Our clients' interests always come first. Our experience shows that if we serve our clients well, our own success will follow.
3. Success: Every client and employee of Kodiak Legends Lodge is integral to our success. At all times, we will treat each other with professionalism, respect and honesty.
4. Safety: Kodiak Island is remote, weather can move in quickly and the density of Kodiak Brown Bears makes safety absolutely mission critical. Our team places safety first and foremost in all that we do.
5. Community: We respect the obligations that we have to the communities in which we operate, realizing the safe, reliable and environmentally compliant operations must always guide our daily work. Our collective aim is to positively impact the communities and economies in which we operate.
6. Environment: Our business relies on the phenomenal natural resources on Kodiak Island. It is vital that we “leave no trace” where we walk, embrace sustainability and encourage conservation in order to preserve our resources for future generations.
7. Native Culture & History: Immerse clients with a means for understanding Kodiak Island’s history, with emphasis on the Native people’s history, customs and culture.
8. Reputation: Recognizing that our reputation is integral to our success, we are dedicated to protecting that reputation.
9. Employees: We recognize that the quality of our personnel is what sets us apart from our competitors. It is imperative to recruit the very best people.
10. Culture: We believe in a “we” not an “I” culture; while individual creativity is encouraged, we work together as a team.
11. Values: We will always adhere to the highest standard of integrity and ethics.
12. Communication: We value communication. Listening is more important than talking. We will seek to immediately act upon any feedback we receive.
13. Voice: Promote the ideas of responsible resource management and conservation to the Alaskan tourism industry.
14. Energy: Wherever possible we will seek to reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint.
