How do I get to Kodiak Legends Lodge?
Guests at Kodiak Legends Lodge should schedule flights into Kodiak (ADQ), which has seven daily flights from Anchorage served by Alaska Airlines and ERA Aviation.

From Kodiak, KLL will arrange transportation onward to Larsen Bay. It is a 25-minute flight across Kodiak Island. The Larsen Bay airport is a 2-minute drive from the lodge.

What is the weather like?
Kodiak actually has relatively temperate weather compared to much of Alaska and some States in the lower 48. Since Kodiak is located in southern Alaska and surrounded by water, it gets milder pacific currents that warm the air. This same warm current gives California its warm weather.

Why should I choose Kodiak Legends Lodge over other lodges?
• Epics salmon and steelhead runs in a world-famous fishery and incredible halibut fishing all very nearby

Where do I buy my fishing / hunting licenses?
All fishing and hunting licenses should be purchased in advance online – click here. Or they can be purchased at a sporting goods store in the city of Kodiak.

Does the lodge have internet access?
Yes. We have wireless internet access via satellite. It’s not as fast as the broadband connection that you’re used to, but it’s much faster than dial-up.

What can I do in the evenings at the lodge when I’m not out fishing for salmon or hunting for deer?
After a full day in the Alaskan outdoors, many of our guests wind down in the hot tub, which is located just above the beach and has a beautiful, panoramic view of Uyak Bay. In addition, you can watch satellite TV, surf the internet, read by the fireplace, shoot pool or take a walk on the beach.

Will my cell phone work at the lodge?

For better for worse (we believe for better), Larsen Bay is one of the last places you can go where you will not be interrupted by cell phone calls. But the lodge has several telephone lines if you need to call the rest of the world.
